Nitin earned his Master’s degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore in 2020, where he conducted research on hydrogel synthesis for biocatalysis and nanoparticle synthesis. He later joined the UNESCO-Regional Centre for Biotechnology as a Project Associate (2022-2024), where he worked on developing labelling technologies for imaging applications using fluorogenic bioanalogues. Currently, Nitin is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network (DN) Researcher at the University of Glasgow, where his work focuses on designing supramolecular biosensors to detect contaminants of emerging concern.
