In a newly released video, two INCLUE doctoral candidates, Sara Cvetković and Tiago Martins, share insights into their research activities, their experiences within the network, and the opportunities provided by international and intersectoral collaboration.
Sara is conducting her doctoral research at Watchfrog, one of INCLUE’s industrial partners, where she contributes to developing innovative approaches to assessing the effects of contaminants, including endocrine-disrupting chemicals. Tiago, PhD candidate at KU Leuven and Nijhuis Saur Industries, recently completed a two-month secondment with the Watchfrog team, gaining hands-on experience in an industrial research environment and strengthening collaborations across the consortium.
Throughout the video, Sara and Tiago reflect on the scientific challenges they are addressing, the skills they are developing through the doctoral programme, and the value of working within a multidisciplinary European network. Their experiences illustrate one of INCLUE’s core objectives: fostering the next generation of researchers capable of tackling complex environmental issues through collaborative and innovative approaches.
The INCLUE project focuses on improving our understanding of wastewater contaminants, including endocrine disruptors, and developing new tools and methodologies to support environmental monitoring, risk assessment, and sustainable water management.
